Mercedes-Benz’s test vehicle with automated driving functions reaches South Africa
German automaker is covering five continents in five months under its ‘Intelligent World Drive’ autonomous driving project
In the fourth leg of Mercedes-Benz’s ‘Intelligent World Drive’, a test vehicle with self-driving technology has reached South Africa, Daimler said in a press release on Friday (15 December). The test vehicle, based on the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, is presently running automated test drives on the roads of the Western Cape and in the city of Cape Town.
