Germany to invest USD14.2 million for lithium-ion battery R&D

Project is expected to run for 18 months

Germany is planning to invest EUR12.1 million (USD14.2 million) into research project Fab4Lib which willto start researching and developing processes for large-scale production of lithium-ion battery cells , RWTH Aachen University announced in a press release on 14 December.
