NXP joins Baidu’s Apollo autonomous driving platform

Dutch supplier also agrees to provide semiconductor products and solutions to the Chinese partner

NXP Semiconductors has joined Baidu’s Apollo open autonomous driving platform, the Netherlands-based automotive electronics company said in a press release on 21 December. Under the terms of the agreement between the two companies, NXP will provide semiconductor products and solutions including millimeter wave radar, vehicle-to-everything (V2X), security and smart connectivity technologies.
