Investment to expand Daimler Mobility Services’ presence in France

Daimler Mobility Services, a business unit of Germany-based automaker Daimler, has acquired 50% stake in Chauffeur Prive, Daimler said in a press release on 21 December. Established in 2011, Chauffeur Prive operates app-based private hire vehicle services in France with more than 1.5 million customers and 18,000 drivers. Chauffeur Prive mainly offer its service in Paris, Lyon and at the Côte d’Azur in France. Daimler Mobility Service intends to take full ownership of Chauffeur Prive by 2019.
