Didi Chuxing raises over USD4 billion through equity funding to drive expansion
Chinese firm plans to use the proceeds from the funding round to enhance AI capability, develop NEV service network and international expansion
China-based mobility platform Didi Chuxing raised over USD4 billion through new equity funding, the company said in a press release last month. The latest round of funding, which values the Chinese firm at over USD56 billion, was participated by Abu Dhabi (UAE) state fund Mubadala Capital as well as by Didi’s existing investor SoftBank, reports Bloomberg, citing two people familiar with the development.
