CES 2018: TomTom launches AutoStream map delivery services for ADAS, autonomous vehicles

Also launches TomTom MotionQ; expands collaboration with Qualcomm

TomTom has launched TomTom AutoStream, a new map delivery services for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving at the CES 2018 in Las Vegas, the United States, the company said in a press release today. The new service enables vehicles to build a horizon for the road ahead by streaming the latest map data from TomTom cloud. TomTom has launched AutoStream with its two strategic partners, Chinese web services company Baidu and Zenuity, a joint-venture company owned by Autoliv and Volvo Cars. The company’s new service will be available for production usage in 2018.
