Company aims to bring new radar to market by next year

Magna has introduced its ICON radar sensor for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving applications at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, Michigan (United States), the company said in a press release on 15 January. According to the Canadian supplier, the high-resolution radar incorporates advanced technology used by the US military to deliver precise detection up to 300 meters.
