Investment to create 1,500 new jobs and secures 8,000 existing jobs in the Ontario region

Linamar is planning to invest in a number of new programs including artificial intelligence (AI), advanced powertrain, connectivity, and electromobility, according to a press release by the Ontario state government. Along with the financial aid from the governments of Ontario and Canada, the company will spend up to CAD500 million (USD402 million) on these programs.
