PG&E launches new program to install 7,500 EV chargers in California
Three-year program will run through 2020 and cost USD130 million
Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) has launched a new ‘EV Charge Network’ program to accelerate expansion of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles (EV) in California, United States, the company said in a press release on 17 January. Under the program, beginning this quarter, PG&E will install 7,500 EV chargers at condominiums, apartment buildings and workplaces across northern and central California.
