CES 2018: Panasonic unveils Android 8.0 powered infotainment system
Japanese supplier working with Amazon to offer Alexa voice service in its next-generation IVI system
At the CES 2018 last week in Las Vegas (United States), Panasonic introduced its latest in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) system, powered by the next-generation Android operating system— Android 8.1 Oreo, the company said in a press release. Last year, the Japanese supplier had announced a partnership with Qualcomm to develop an IVI platform, based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
