Cypress unveils new ‘TrueTouch CYAT817’ automotive touchscreen controllers
New controllers feature integrated acoustic and haptic feedback control to provide faster response times for enhanced user experience
Cypress Semiconductor introduced ‘TrueTouch CYAT817’ automotive touchscreen controller family that delivers advanced features for next-generation infotainment system, the company said in a press release earlier this month. The company’s new touchscreen controllers offer an advanced hover capability that can detect a finger up to 35 millimeter (mm) above the touchscreen. The controllers feature integrated acoustic and haptic feedback control to provide faster response times for enhanced user experience. Cypress demonstrated the new TrueTouch CYAT817 controllers at the CES 2018 earlier this month in Las Vegas, United States.
