JVs expected to start production in 2020; to have an annual production capacity of 4,600 tons of precursors and cathodes

South Korea-based steelmaker POSCO and Chinese company Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt will form two separate joint ventures (JVs) for lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery materials in China, Green Car Congress reported on 25 January.
