Munich office will initially focus on developing advanced mapping solutions for use in Level 5 autonomous vehicles

Lyft has opened a new office in Munich, Germany to develop autonomous driving technology, the US-based ride-sharing firm said in a blog last week. The new office will initially focus on simulation, localization and mapping (SLAM) and geometric mapping for Level 5 autonomous driving.
