Renesas reports USD685 million net income for 2017
Automotive segment accounted for half of Renesas' sales in 2017
Renesas has reported net income of JPY77.2 billion (USD685.2 million as on 31 December 2017) for the financial year ended 31 December 2017, the company said in a press release on 9 February. The company reported net sales of JPY780.3 billion, of which JPY764.4 billion, or 98%, was generated from sale of semiconductors. Renesas recorded operating income of JPY78.4 billion.
