BMW, Mercedes-Benz to use HERE’s HD Live Map in future models
BMW to start equipping its future models with HERE HD Live Map from the beginning of next decade
BMW and Daimler are planning to use HERE Technologies’ HD Live Map as an integral feature in their future models, HERE said in separate press releases on 21 February. BMW has entered an agreement with HERE to start equipping its vehicles with HERE HD Live Map from the beginning of the next decade. The move is expected to enhance safety and comfort of drivers and passengers in the BMW Group vehicles. HERE’s advanced mapping solutions is also expected to support highly autonomous driving capability in future BMW models.
