New company makes its first strategic investment in California-based company developing advanced sensors

Volvo Cars has launched a new investment fund to invest in potential start-ups working in areas that are transforming the automotive industry, the company said in a press release on 28 February. The fund, called ‘Volvo Cars Tech Fund’, will target start-ups working in areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), electrification, autonomous driving and digital mobility services.
