Mazda, Toyota establishes 50:50 JV for USD1.6 billion greenfield plant in US
Plant, with annual production capacity of 300,000 units, will begin operations in 2021
Mazda and Toyota have formally established their new joint venture (JV) company in the United States that will produce vehicles in Huntsville, Alabama from 2021, the two Japanese automakers said in a joint press release today. The JV company, Mazda Toyota Manufacturing USA (MTMUS) will be equally owned by Mazda and Toyota.
