Pierburg develops new wastegate actuator
New actuator currently being evaluated by a manufacturer of exhaust-gas turbochargers
Rheinmetall’s subsidiary Pierburg has developed a new wastegate actuator that allows direct activation of the wastegate valve by being mounted on the hot turbine housing, the company announced in a press release last week.
