Green Hills Software supplies solutions to Renesas R-Car D3 SOC for instrument clusters
Renesas launched R-Car D3 automotive SOC last year to expand use of 3D graphics in instrument clusters
Green Hills Software is supplying its ‘Integrity RTOS’ and supporting product portfolio to Renesas’s R-Car D3 automotive system on chip (SOC) for graphical instrument clusters, the company said in a press release. The combination of Green Hill’s ASIL-certified Integrity ROTS and development tools with Renesas’s 64-bit R-Car D3 SOC, featuring Open GL 3D graphics acceleration from Imagination Technologies’ Power VR Series 8XE graphics processing unit (GPU), enables automakers and tier-1 supplier to create safe, secure and rich graphics in human machines interfaces (HMIs) for in-vehicle infotainment and instrument clusters.
