BMW plans to increase spending on electromobility, autonomous driving this year
Automaker to go ahead with its plans to double self-driving fleet to 80 this year
BMW could spend as much as EUR7 billion on research and development (R&D) in 2018 as it intensifies its focus on electromobility and autonomous driving, the company said during its annual press conference in Munich, Germany on 21 March.
