Fraunhofer, VDE to set up new competence center for batteries and storage systems in Germany
Organizations to invest over EUR30 million in the new competence center
Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE, the Fraunhofer Institute for High-Speed Dynamics, Ernst-Mach-Institute, EMI and the Association of German Electrical Engineers VDE will establish a new competence center for batteries and energy storage systems in Freiburg, Germany, Fraunhofer ISE announced in a press release on 23 March.
