Tesla recalls 123,000 vehicles globally to replace power steering bolts
EV maker will notify owners of affected Model S once the power steering component is available in their area
Tesla is recalling 123,000 Model S electric sedans globally, built before April 2016, to retrofit a power-steering component, Bloomberg reported on 30 March. The US-based electric vehicle (EV) maker said in an e-mail sent to the owners of affected vehicles that it is performing voluntary recall after observing “excessive corrosion” in the power steering bolts.
