2017 Global plug-in electric vehicle index
PEV uptake increases as a growing number of nations commit to electrify their automotive fleet
2017 witnessed remarkable growth in the global plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) uptake. PEVs accounted for 30.5% of all alternate propulsion vehicles produced in the year; during the same period in 2016 the PEV share was 24.9%.
