Honda plans to produce hybrid vehicles in Thailand
Automaker also plans to assemble batteries and manufacture core components in the country
Japanese automaker Honda plans to start production of hybrid vehicles in Thailand, Bangkok Post reported last week. Honda has earmarked THB5 billion (USD160 million) for local production of hybrid vehicles, of which THB1.6 billion will be invested by the automaker and the remaining will come from its suppliers.
