Zap-Map launches peer-to-peer EV charging networks in UK
Company’s survey found that 50% of home charge point owners and more than 30% of workplace charge point owners are willing to share their charge points with other EV drivers
Zap-Map has launched two peer-to-peer electric vehicle (EV) charging networks, Zap-Home and Zap-Work, in the United Kingdom to allow charge point owners to share their charging devices with other EV drivers, the company said in a press release on 23 March. The company’s Zap-Home network allows owners of home charge point to earn some money by renting out their device to other EV divers.
