Daimler’s moovel launches new transit benefit system FareShare
FareShare will help reduce monthly commuting expenses and deliver cost saving by limiting misuse of transportation benefits
Daimler’s multi-modal transportation app moovel has launched FareShare, a new system that allows riders to access transit benefit, reduced fares and discounted tickets from their mobile devices, the company said in a press release on 9 April. The system streamlines the process of delivering transit benefits to riders and eliminates the need to distribute and track physical transit passes, offering riders a better user experience. This will also help transit agencies reduce operational costs.
