Osram, Continental, others developing optical components for vehicle HUDs
Project aims to explore flexible design and manufacturing process for space critical application for data visualization or illumination
Osram Opto Semiconductors has announced that it has been collaborating with the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering, TEMICON and Continental since October 2017 to develop compact and low-profile optical components for illumination or data visualization such as vehicle heads-up displays, the company said in a press release last month.
