ACM and IEEE TEC will identify needs for standards as well as validation and conformance testing requirements

The American Center for Mobility (ACM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with IEEE to collaborate on developing technical standards for connected and automated vehicles, ACM said in a press release on 10 April. Under the agreement, ACM and IEEE Transportation Electrification Community (TEC), which is responsible for coordinating IEEE activity in electrification across transportation domain, will identify needs for standards as well as validation and conformance testing requirements. IEEE TEC and ACM will also facilitate the importance of standards, interoperability and validation and testing compliance.
