Denso makes equity investment in software firm ‘On The Road’
Japanese supplier plans to leverage On The Road’s technical capabilities to improve its systems to MasS systems
Denso has invested JPY160 million (USD1.5 million) to pick about 14.88% equity stake in On The Road Co. Ltd, an Aichi (Japan)-based firm developing software to accelerate technology development for Mobility-as-a-service (MaaS) systems, the company said in a press release on 18 April. On The Road has developed large-scale systems, using communication and cloud computing technology, and has technical capabilities for developing key technologies required for next-generation mobility services.
