Canadian government invests USD2.6 million on new lithium-ion battery manufacturing process
New process expected to lower cost, and also be environmentally friendly
The Government of Canada has awarded CAD3.4 million (USD2.6 million) to Springpower International (SPI) for developing a new cost-effective lithium-ion battery manufacturing process, Sustainable Development Technology Canada announced in a press release last week.
