Indian government extends phase 1 of ‘FAME India’ EV incentive scheme
EV incentive scheme will now run until 30 September 2018, or until the launch of phase-II of FAME India scheme
The Government of India has extended the first phase of Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of (Hybrid &) Electric Vehicles (FAME) India Scheme for another six months, news website ETAuto reported last week citing a notification by India’s Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises.
