BMW plans to use multisize battery cells to ensure design flexibility of EVs
Company to have one size of cells for full-electric and plug-in hybrid sedans and coupes, and one for electrified SUVs
German automaker BMW is planning to use multi-sized battery cells in its different electric vehicles (EV) to ensure design flexibility, Automotive News reported on 18 April citing BMW Group research and development head Klaus Froehlich.
