Technology uses high-contract images to reproduce scenery using LED lights

Ford has developed a prototype of smart car window that helps visually-impaired passengers feel the view, Autocar reported on 1 May. The technology called, “Feel The View”, uses high-contract images to reproduce scenery using LED lights. Passengers with very low or no visibility can touch the display to feel different shades of grey vibrate at different intensities. In addition to the window displays, the smart car also features voice assistant that uses artificial intelligence technology to describe the scenery outside the window.
