Fire at Meridian Lightweight Technologies’ plant in US affects Ford F-150 production
Production is also affected at BMW and Mercedes-Benz
Ford has halted production of F-150 pick-up trucks at its Kansas City Assembly Plant in Missouri, United States due to auto parts shortage following a fire at a plant in Eaton Rapid, Michigan (also in United States) operated by Meridian Lightweight Technologies last week, Automotive News reported on 7 May.
