Drive.ai to launch self-driving ride-hailing service in US this July
Self-driving car start-up has been testing its technology on public roads in California for nearly two years
Self-driving car start-up Drive.ai will launch a ride-hailing service with self-driving cars in Frisco, Texas (United States), the company announced in a blog posted on Medium on 7 May. The company’s self-driving fleet will offer last mile connectivity to people in select areas of Frisco, helping them commute between areas that are too far to walk but too close to drive. Using Drive.ai app, members of Frisco community will be able to call a self-driving vehicle on demand.
