Spirent extends partnership with Cohda Wireless for testing WAVE-DSRC V2X devices
Companies have collaborated for many years on testing the European V2X standard ITS-G5
Spirent Communication and Cohda Wireless have agreed to extend their partnership to support testing of Wireless Access in Vehicular Network- Dedicated Short-range Communication (WAVE-DSRC) vehicle-to-everything (V2X) devices, the two companies said in a joint press release on 8 May. The two companies, who have collaborated for many years on testing the European V2X standard ITS-G5, will now work to offer similar tests for the US Department of Transportation (US DOT) WAVE-DSRC standards.
