Panasonic showcases Android 9.0 in-vehicle infotainment systems at Google IO conference
This is the fifth version of IVI platform integrated with Android OS since the first one debuted at the CES 2016
Panasonic has announced its intention to produce Skip Generation (Skip Gen) in vehicle infotainment (IVI) platform integrated with Android version 9.0, the company said in a press release on 9 May. The Japanese supplier showcased the latest version of Skip Gen IVI system on a full-size pick-up truck at the annual Google I/O conference in Mountain View, California (United States) this week.
