Ford announces availability of Waze navigation app in vehicles globally
Automaker entered partnership with Google’s Waze last year to integrate Waze navigation app in its vehicles last year
Ford has announced the availability of Waze navigation app in its vehicles equipped with SYNC 3 multimedia system, the US automaker said in a press release on 17 May. The feature, available in Ford vehicles via SYNC AppLink, will allow Waze users to simply plug-in their iPhone into SYNC 3-equipped vehicles and project the app directly onto their touchscreen. The integration will allow users easier access to features such as finding efficient traffic routes, locating cheaper fuel prices and reporting traffic accidents, using voice commands.
