Magna, Renesas to accelerate mass adoption of 3D surround view system
An European automaker will be the first to use 3D surround view system in its future vehicles
Magna has joined forces with Renesas Electronics to develop affordable three-dimensional (3D) surround view system for entry and mid-range vehicles, the two companies said in a press release on 17 May. The 3D surround view system will feature Renesas’s system-on-chip (SOC) technology, which integrates the camera into the vehicle’s computer systems.
