Companies plan to expand test to US and Europe in coming weeks

Intel and its wholly owned subsidiary Mobileye have started testing the first phase of the 100-car autonomous vehicle fleet in Jerusalem, Israel, according to blog by Amnon Shashua, CEO and CTO of Mobileye and senior vice president at Intel. Through the trial, Mobileye is demonstrating how its Responsibility- Sensitivity Safety (RSS) model increases safety and integrates key learnings into its products. In the initial phase, the test fleet is relying mainly on cameras.
