Volkswagen, Siemens’ pilot project on truck electrification receives approval in Germany
Trial operations scheduled to start early 2019, will run for three years
The German Federal Ministry for the Environment has approved a joint pilot project by Volkswagen (VW) and Siemens on electrification of heavy goods vehicles (HGV), the automaker announced in a press release on 24 May.
