SSB, moovel to launch new mobility service in German city Stuttgart next month
Two companies are starting new service after successful trials since December last year
Stuttgart's main public transport operator Stuttgarter Strassenbahnen (SSB) has teamed up with Daimler-owned multi-modal mobility platform moovel to offer a new mobility services in Stuttgart called “SSB Flex” from 1 June, moovel said in a press release on 24 May. The new app-based, on-demand mobility service will pool similar journey request in three areas to provide additional, more flexible journey options in certain high-traffic areas or at specific times to supplement the existing transportation service offered.
