Ford starts relocation of EV, autonomy teams to new office in US’ Detroit city
US automaker expects relocation to help accelerate its push into electrification and strengthen its development of self-driving vehicles
Ford is moving its electric vehicle (EV) and autonomous vehicle business teams into a refurbished facility located in Corktown area in downtown Detroit, Michigan (United States), the automaker said in a press release on 24 May. Ford expects its relocation to the facility called ‘The Factory’ will offer a new work environment to accelerate the company’s push into electrification and strengthen its development of self-driving vehicles.
