Naver was among the first companies in South Korea to receive permission to test self-driving vehicles on public roads

Naver Lab, a subsidiary of the South Korean information technology (IT) company Naver, has joined forces with automotive supplier Mando to develop autonomous driving technologies, Yonhap News Agency reported on 25 May. Under the partnership, Naver will share its artificial intelligence (AI) and self-driving software technologies with Mando, which provides radar and camera sensors for vehicles. Apart from Mando, the company plans to expand ties with other partners to provide the industry with improved technologies.
