CES Asia 2018: Continental presents cloud-based voice-service, charging solution

German supplier also showcasing innovations in areas of safety, efficiency and vehicle networking

Continental is showcasing ‘digital companion’, a cloud-based voice service at the CES Asia 2018 in Shanghai (China), the company said in a press release on 13 June. According to the company, the cloud-based voice-service is coupled to various functions, such as interactive user guide, to enable a normal conversation between driver and vehicle. The ‘digital companion’ is capable of learning and depending upon the type of warning and what it has learned, the service recommends what to do.
