Three partners are running trials of D-Call Net since November 2015

Toyota, Honda and the Emergency Medical Network of Helicopter and Hospital (HEM-Net) are working on full-scale implementation of an advanced automatic collision notification (AACN) service called “D-Call Net” in Japan, according to a joint press release by Toyota and Honda last week. After a traffic accident, the D-Call system, like eCall in the European Union (EU), enables immediate dispatch decision with air and ground ambulances through reporting to fire departments and cooperating hospitals.
