Uber launches UberÉLECTRIQUE electric car-sharing service in Montreal
Ride-sharing company is promoting awareness among its riders and driver partners in Montreal on benefits of clean mobility solutions
Uber has teamed up with the l’Association des vehicules electriques du Quebec (AVEQ) and Electric Mobility Canada (EMC) to launch UberÉLECTRIQUE program in Montreal, Canada, according to a press release on 19 June. The new program will support more electromobility in ride sharing in Montreal, the biggest city in Quebec province. Under the program, Uber will promote awareness among its riders and driver partners in Montreal on benefits of clean mobility solutions. The ride-sharing company will collaborate with close to 100 driver-partners, who currently operate an EV on its platform.
