Boston allows nuTonomy to test self-driving vehicles across city
First company to get permission to test self-driving vehicles from the Boston city government
US city Boston has allowed nuTonomy, a self-driving start-up acquired by Aptiv last year, to expand testing of test self-driving vehicles across the city, according to a press release by the City of Boston government. The city government said that nuTonomy has been testing self-driving vehicles on street in the Seaport District since January 2017 under its supervision and “has a proven safety record”.
