BlackBerry QNX technology to power in-car experience in BYTON vehicles
BYTON is planning to launch smart EVs in China towards the end of 2019, and in the United States and Europe in 2020
Chinese electric vehicle (EV) start-up BYTON has selected BlackBerry QNX technology to power in-car experience in its first series of production vehicles, BlackBerry said in a press release on 21 June. BlackBerry will license its QNX software, including its QNX SDP 7.0 real-time operating system and Hypervisor 2.0 software, to BYTON.
