Leclanché will share its technical knowledge and Exide Industries will use its sales network and brand

India-based Exide Industries has selected Swiss energy storage solution company Leclanché to form a joint venture (JV) to produce lithium-ion batteries and provide energy storage systems for India's electric vehicle (EV) market and grid-based applications, Leclanché announced in a press release on 27 June.
